The Eric Wood Fund is a critically important resource for the patients and families that we serve at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. Funds raised to support the Eric Wood Fund at The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation have an immediate, positive impact on the comfort and care of chronically ill children and their families. We are proud to partner with Eric to enhance vital services provided through the Family Resource Center, Child Life and Stone’s Buddies Program.
Eric knows firsthand the importance of Children’s Hospitals and the heavy burden carried by a family who must face the serious health issues of a child. Eric’s little brother Evan passed away at just 11 years of age, after complications from Cerebral Palsy. Everything Eric does in the community is done, with Evan - and his smile - on his mind and in his heart. Evan is the inspiration and Eric’s motivation...and The Eric Wood Fund is his legacy.
